by Andrew MacGregor

Camera makers Canon use a game of basketball to plug their EOS R System. The protagonist has her work cut out as players dribble, block, and shoot at full pelt, and she gets right in amongst them... perhaps they should have supplied her with a telephoto lens.

Once she's locked into the action, nothing escapes her viewfinder. A red trail darts across the screen like an annoying midge, ostensibly illustrating the sense of flow craved by photographers, but like the annoying soundtrack, it detracts from the action rather than enhancing it.
