Perhaps wary of the 27 Club, Trinidad-born, London-based rapper Berwyn wants his last requests to be known in case disaster strikes. Thus, new single 'Path to Satisfaction' includes verses like, "If this song goes double platinum, but the driver ends up crashing/Tell them how I always made it happen" and "If I fall from the sky and end up crashing/Just say a little prayer for me". Berwyn chooses to confront his own mortality in Trinidad, and it’s easy to see why. The island's tropical rainforests and community spirit restore Berwyn, and make his journey on the titular trail more bearable (no chance of slipping on ice there). So long as he doesn't tempt fate too much, fans should expect more from the up-and-comer.
