Edinburgh Gin mark their TV debut with a little help from Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons and their 1972 single, ‘The Night', as the brand inject some northern soul into what has been an otherwise samey Christmas playlist.

While Valli and company pinpoint the moment when "the night begins to turn your head around", the ad takes viewers on a stylised trip through violet fields, rhubarb forests, and even a meteor shower to indicate this is no ordinary spirit.

This heightened tone is further enhanced by a near-seamless tracking shot that weaves together party scenes and the odd local landmark. It's a fanciful yet intoxicating effort, which is precisely what the target market are looking for at this time of year.
