There's a tactile quality to this Expedia film. Director Robin Mason and DP David Bird beautifully render Japan's Tohoku region as serene wilderness gives way to sweeping mountain ranges and bustling cities. The sound design is good, too: winds howl and food sizzles as viewers enjoy a taste of northeast Japan.
