Over the course of watching this enthralling five-and-a-half minute film extolling the virtues of the XBox as an education tool, something very strange happened... DAVID changed his mind. Knowing who had commissioned this film made us very cynical about its mission, but directors Simon + Ben draw very convincing arguments from the participants, and we very gently found ourselves buying into what they're selling. That's not to say that there aren't dangers in acquiescing to the insistence of young people that they're not wasting their time when they are entirely focused on videogames... a lot of the time they will be. But the counterargument set out here is persuasive, and clearly there are benefits that might be overlooked with a blanket dismissal of gaming.
