Given their background as choreographers, it seems a little surprising that Jamie Neale and Joshua Smith allow the talking to do so much of the talking in this impressive film. The minimalism of Smith's contemporary dance moves allows the viewer to focus on the prose poem, and while this is as compelling as the filmmakers hope, you do find yourself waiting for the performance to move up a gear or two.
