Lego encourage people of all stripes to re-learn how to play in this intriguing film. Sparked by statistics which show that children are spending less time than ever at play, the film is directed by Ellen Kuras and stars Jane Lynch as a workaholic executive who is introduced to the joys of recreation by a group of plucky youngsters. The piece is described as 'fully playable', with easter eggs secreted throughout which direct viewers to the brand's website and dedicated app. There's plenty of real-life action to engage with too, as whole families are prompted to get involved and be creative together. Clocking in at over five minutes long, it's a big ask for viewers to stay focused for the duration - given that we exist in an era where TikToks dictate the average attention span. But there's a plethora of diverting vignettes to keep the audience hooked, and unusual Lego builds aplenty to inspire youthful watchers in their own creative journeys.
