Alphabetti spaghetti fans will be pleased to learn that AB/CD/CD have joined OB (Management)'s talent roster. Clément Dozier and Camille Dauteuille are known for their ambitious music videos, such as the one for Dermot Kennedy's Kiss Me.
The Irish troubadour and his girlfriend ride in the back of a pickup truck that falls apart bit by bit on the road. Rather than focus on the eye-watering garage bill, Monsieurs Dozier and Dauteuille deliver a romantic drive-slash-flight like no other through deft camerawork and visual effects.
If drones are more your bag, then check out this promo for compatriot DeLaurentis. The film features dozens of the blighters, with a manga-fied protagonist as their operator. Yet what could have been a superficial tech demo becomes something human in AB/CD/CD's hands.
There's also plenty of heart in this Fondation des Hôpitaux ad, which sees a young patient 'direct' a documentary about life on the ward, while his imagination adds a few playful flourishes. The spot claims that "living in hospital is better when you don't feel like you're living there", and AB/CD/CD do this outlook justice.
