OLIVER KEMBER SIGNS WITH JOHNNY FOREIGNER.

Johnny Foreigner's roster of freelance directors now boasts Oliver Kember. Kember, who is of British, Indian, and Norwegian stock, works with a 'have camera, will travel' attitude, and that suits Olivia Hirschberg down to the ground.

"Oliver is an absolute go to for anything travel-related right now and with our global network of clients there is a great fit," she says, with one eye on the departures board. As for Karen James, she notes: "On the narrative side of things Oliver is a talented and passionate comedy director and I am keen to see both worlds collide."


And what does Kember have to say about his new digs? "I'm thrilled to be joining Jøhnny Föreigner as a freelance director alongside their incredible roster of talent. I feel in safe hands with the powerhouse duo that is Olivia and Karen, and look forward to working with their esteemed clients in the near future."

Since Kember's arrival feels like a belated Christmas present to James and Hirschberg, it's a good excuse to watch the director's alternative festive flick from 2016. A little girl gets more than she bargained for on Christmas night as she stumbles across none other than Santa Claus… well, a burglar dressed as Santa Claus. Those anticipating a schmaltzy redemption arc will be pleasantly surprised by this fireside confessional.
