EMMA PARKINSON JOINS BLINK.

Homespun Yarns 2022 winner Emma Parkinson has joined Blink for commercial representation. A BFI Film Academy graduate and former BAFTA mentor, Parkinson wrote and directed 'Dishes, Dishes, Dishes', a comedy-drama about relationships and—you guessed it—washing up.

When a young man (Daniel Cech-Lucas) invites his girlfriend (Sophie Kandola) to move in with him, his hopes of blissful domesticity are dashed by an incompatibility when it comes to the vital matter of doing the dishes. Parkinson squeezes every ounce from the premise and her lead actors, plus she lets viewers decide who's to blame for the inevitable collapse.


Blink executive producer Patrick Craig prefers to keep his theory to himself, but he does say: "'Dishes, Dishes, Dishes' is such a great showcase of Emma's strong ideas and comedic talent and shows such directing promise. We are thrilled to welcome her to our roster and look forward to seeing what she creates next."
