The latter feature in Bristow's 2018 outing for Skittles x Pride. His brief animated ads underline the brand's belief that "only one rainbow matters" during the annual event - thus, said rodents and a hungry cat carry out some colourful drainage work.
Bristow's already popped his OB Management cherry with a spot for Amazon Prime Video. Though it's only fifteen seconds long, the work demonstrates both Bristow's technical and creative flair. Furthermore, it shows what's possible with minimal resources. "There was no budget allocated," Bristow explains. "They just had a killer idea of re-purposing old Internet memes to click with their message 'Prime Changes Everything'. They had the rights to a bunch of classics and some loose ideas but needed some guidance on how to create high-quality films for social media, quick and fast."
So what does Bristow say to those intrigued by his approach? "Why not send me some scripts? We'll have a right laugh making them. My sprawling technical knowledge will identify the bits that everyone's probably telling you are impossible right now, and I'll tell you how it isn't." That's fighting talk... and we like it.
