Unfortunately DAVID were unable to attend last week's Homespun Yarns, but had we been there, we would have cast our vote with those who opted to make Emma Parkinson's excellent film 'Dishes, Dishes, Dishes' the winner on the night. It's a fantastic achievement, and it had to be as all of the four films were phenomenally strong.
Once again Stitch deserve huge credit for devising and supporting this competition, and - in doing so - creating a prize which consistently unearths new talent. A huge thanks is also due to the other companies who support the endeavours of the young filmmakers.

Asif Kapadia, director of 'Senna', 'Amy', and 'Diego Maradona', changes tack with 'Creature', a film based on the English National Ballet production of the same name.
Jinx Godfrey, whose credits include 'Chernobyl', 'The Princess', and 'The Theory of Everything', is available for commercials again at Marshall Street Editors.
