Dog Eat Dog have added noted car director Marc Bethke to their UK roster.

The German's love of film was sparked at an early age, as he immersed himself in life on-set and worked all manner of internships and AD roles to build up his skills. A filmmaking degree in Los Angeles followed and the rest, as they say, is history.

Bethke has carved out a niche for himself in the automotive realm: namely, the ability to combine sleek vehicular visuals with convincing human performances. His passion for working with actors is driven by his background in directing fiction, and forms an integral part of creating films which always stand out in a crowded genre.


Ready to flex his directing muscles and see what diverse projects he can turn his hand to, Bethke is thrilled to expand his horizons with Dog Eat Dog.

"As a director, I am in a phase where I really want to push my boundaries and venture into new territories. Mark (O'Sullivan, EP) and Harvey (Ascott, EP) bring loads of experience and a deep understanding of the craft to the table, as both have produced commercials as well as fiction content, which suits me perfectly.

"I see this as a chance to evolve together and create films that are unexpected and extraordinary. Another decisive argument for me was their eclectic roster of directors, which I can fully identify with and am proud to be a part of."


Founder Mark O'Sullivan is also delighted about the new addition to the Dog Eat Dog roster. He says: "We are very excited to be working with Marc. He is one of the most prominent automotive directors in Germany and we look forward to introducing him to our client base here in the UK."
