Director Jeff Tremaine is synonymous with pain and suffering. He is, after all, one of the co-creators of 'Jackass', the show that turned idiotic self-mutilation into an art form. Once the show ran its course, Tremaine directed all four 'Jackass' movies, as well as Oscar-nominated spin-off 'Bad Grandpa'.
When he's not surrounded by the walking wounded, Tremaine shoots commercials for brands like American Airlines, Bud Light, and Comcast. The result is a packed showreel that Pulse Films president, Davud Karbassioun, found irresistible.
Karbassioun says, "Jeff's credentials speak for themselves. His work has been at the heart of shaping this generation's creative culture. His diverse output speaks to our tastes and interests. We're proud to welcome him to the Pulse Films roster."
The man from Rockville, Maryland says, "I'm so excited to team up with a company like Pulse Films that shares my sensibilities and desire to make fun, high-quality work." As Tremaine and Karbassioun look forward to 2023, check out this spot for 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2' that has more than a hint of 'Jackass' to it.
