JACK BEGERT JOINS BISCUIT FILMWORKS.

Jack Begert has signed with Biscuit Filmworks to make all manner of commercials and music videos in the UK and the US. The Miami-born, Los Angeles-based director is perhaps best known for promos like 'Get Him Back!' for Olivia Rodrigo and 'Black Balloons Reprise' for Flying Lotus and Denzel Curry.

In the former, multiple versions of Rodrigo take city streets by storm, car windows exploding as she stomps around and relays the end of a relationship. In the latter, Lotus and Curry explore a surreal, monochrome city full of the eponymous black balloons, redolent of depression and pessimism ("I must be the black balloon and/The children of the world always meets a doomed end").


Such work leads UK managing director Rupert Reynolds-Maclean to say: "Jack is a modern young director who clearly cares deeply about both craft and the necessity for it in his storytelling. Everything always pushes the narrative forward. We're looking forward to making great work together."
