OKAYSTUDIO WELCOME FLORIAN STAERK
14 December 2022

OkayStudio are now in league with SEC Studio, and the two have already done a swap deal involving Ruth Wardell and Florian Staerk. Here's what the latter has to say about exclusive UK representation.

"I am very excited to have the opportunity to be represented by OkayStudio in the UK and to be a part of the team. It's almost two years since I first met Nikolaj Belzer, and he and the crew left quite an impression on me. I followed them closely and really liked their approach, spirit, and the creative talent they are working with."

In return, SEC Studio get the much-admired Ruth Wardell, who says: "I've also been fortunate enough to work with some amazing talent already like Paul Herrmann, Maik Schuster, Thomas Van Kristen, Maximilian Pittner, and Daniel Sannwald. With our new suite opening in Berlin recently, I'm looking forward to more frequent visits and collaborating with our partners at SEC Studio."

Florian's work is timeless, considered, and crafted to perfection.

 ”

Back in London, OkayStudio founder and managing director Nikolaj Belzer is chuffed at his new arrival: "We have been talking to Florian for a while now and it's pretty obvious what an immense talent he is. He is one of these rare artists that can bring out the best in every frame while always being incredibly subtle about it—always in support of the story to tell. Add to that the fact that he is not only very mature as a colourist but an incredibly friendly personality to be around."

Meanwhile, executive producer Josh Sanders's patience has paid off: "Growing a world-class colour department takes time and we're delighted to finally have Florian on board here at OkayStudio. His work is timeless, considered, and crafted to perfection—we're looking forward to partnering him with our clients and broadening our services once again via the UK studio."

For more information on Florian Staerk, ring Josh Sanders on 020 7127 0764 or email josh@okaystudio.co.uk.
