Caviar now represent director Sergi Castellà in the United States, as well as France, Belgium, and the UK. The Spaniard first joined Caviar in 2019 for European work, and it was only a matter of time before the company's LA office got involved.
Barcelona native Castellà says, "Caviar kindly helped me produce my first short film, 'Tu Niño', when I moved to Los Angeles and that was a dream come true. They were so hands-on and simultaneously so trustful throughout the whole shooting it made me want to stay and keep collaborating with them."
So what does he hope to achieve as part of Caviar's global roster? "In the years to come, I am certain that through our collaboration we will create iconic films and commercials together," Castellà says. "I'm also looking forward to making a Super Bowl commercial so that my mother-in-law, Karla, can finally see what I do!"
Central to Castellà's masterplan is EP Kim Dellara, who says, "We are thrilled to have Sergi join our growing roster of directors. He is a stellar talent who’s unique dreamlike style of directing makes his work stand out. We are so excited to continue collaborating together on global campaigns and films alike."
Asif Kapadia, director of 'Senna', 'Amy', and 'Diego Maradona', changes tack with 'Creature', a film based on the English National Ballet production of the same name.
Jinx Godfrey, whose credits include 'Chernobyl', 'The Princess', and 'The Theory of Everything', is available for commercials again at Marshall Street Editors.
