CURLY FILMS SWOOP FOR JACK PIRIE.

Multifaceted director Jack Pirie has joined Curly Films for UK representation. Not one to be pigeonholed, Pirie flits between commercials, short films, and music videos with ease, as well as immersive experiences like 'The War of the Worlds' and 'Moriarty's Game: A Killer in the Hive'.

It's why Curly co-founder Julia Frost calls him "a directorial polymath in the true sense of the word", adding: "He is a natural storyteller and will use his extensive creative and technical knowledge to  find the best platform for each of the narratives he wants to tell.  Whether that is an award winning immersive experience, short film, or music video."



Pirie, who also has multiple features and television shows in development, says: "I'm excited to dig in with Curly and hopefully create some epic and resonant stories together, continuing to blur the boundaries across genres and formats." Fingers crossed that leads to more films like 'The Storm Chaser'.

Released in 2022, the documentary follows windsurfer and storm chaser Thomas Traversa to the eye of the storm—a place that requires patience, knowledge, and a bit of madness to reach. Even if you think Traversa has lost it completely, Pirie ensures that the wild splendour of his pursuit is undeniable.
