CAROLINE KONING ARRIVES AT NEW LAND.
25 November 2021

Dutch filmmaker Caroline Koning has joined New Land for representation in the UK and Scandinavia.

Koning made a splash in 2021 with 'New Girl', a Nike ad that highlights gender inequality in Japan. Aided by forthright storytelling and a string of witty visual gags, it's a strong commercial calling card for New Land's new arrival.

New Land managing director, Trine Pillay, says: "Caroline has a beautiful sensitivity to her work – an understated and powerful way of captivating the audience with striking visuals and emotional narratives. We are thrilled to be working with her and to support her growth as a director and visual artist."

I'm already so often mistaken for a Swede, it feels like a natural fit!

 ”

Along with a fetching reel, Koning brings genuine enthusiasm about her new home: "I've been following New Land since their arrival, so I'm very excited to now finally join them. I feel we have the same sensitive outlook when it comes to picking our projects - it's always done with a human, stylistic approach. I truly admire the work that’s been done in the past by their directors and producers. As a bonus, I'm already so often mistaken for a Swede, it feels like a natural fit!"
