BISCUIT SIGN RACHEL MCDONALD AND THE GLUE SOCIETY.
11 December 2018

Biscuit Filmworks have gone on a pre-Christmas signing spree by adding a brace of new directors to their roster.

Experiential advertising gurus The Glue Society and US filmmaker Rachel McDonald are the latest to arrive at Biscuit HQ, as the company aim to satisfy growing demand with an even deeper talent pool.

Let's hear more about The Glue Society and Rachel McDonald respectively…

1. The Glue Society

The Glue Society have long been at the forefront of experiential advertising and one-off live events. Since director and co-founder Gary Freedman went solo, the ten-strong group have continued to impress brands and punters alike with their blend of artistic flair, filmmaking ability, and marketing savvy.

With the group already hard at work at Biscuit HQ, UK Managing Director Rupert Reynolds-MacLean notes: "The Glue Society not only lead the pack in experiential advertising, but they are also constantly reinventing the medium and finding new ways for brands to connect with audiences.

"Brands are always hunting for new opportunities, and with Biscuit partnering with the Glue Society, the sky is the limit for what we can create with clients and agencies."

2. Rachel McDonald

Born in Gulfport, Mississippi, director Rachel McDonald flits between commercials and short films whilst drawing on her formative years spent on feature film sets. Regardless of where McDonald finds herself, she aims to grab audiences with considered storytelling and equally refined visuals.

It's this combination that excites Biscuit co-founder Shawn Lacy: "Rachel is a striking talent who combines elegantly composed visuals with affecting narratives that make viewers feel deeply connected to the stories unfolding onscreen.

"We're very excited to welcome her to the roster and to work together on more memorable stories."
