Like DAVID, Tantrum have been impressed by his Australian output, with ads for the likes of Suzuki, news.com.au, and Bumble. His work for the latter riffs on the idea of true friendship— namely, to whom would you turn at the moment of your greatest need? The answer is far darker and funnier than expected.
Bergh's skilful Movember ad is another two-hander, albeit with a marked tonal shift. As two hands rest together on a bed, we see a father-son bond grow over the years. There are playful moments, educational ones, and reassuring ones - but they're always shared. This just makes Bergh's delicate conclusion all the more affecting.
Needless to say, Tantrum are "thrilled to represent such a truly cinematic storytelling talent through the next phase of his career". They reckon some "great UK commercials" are on the cards, and, given Bergh's recent form, brands may want to book early to avoid disappointment.
