MINDSEYE TAP EROS VLAHOS AND SAGE BENNETT.
2 October 2020

Multi-talented director Eros Vlahos and Chicago-born filmmaker Sage Bennett have become the latest additions to MindsEye’s lively roster.

Fresh-faced Londoner Vlahos made his comedy debut aged twelve at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, while Bennett was exposed to fine/experimental art from an equally young age.

They're now two of MindsEye's most intriguing commercial prospects, so let's find out more about Vlahos and Bennett individually...

1. Eros Vlahos

Stage fright has never been an issue for Eros Vlahos. After all, he wrote and performed his own standup comedy show as a twelve-year-old at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Subsequent roles in 'Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang', Da Vinci's Demons, and Game of Thrones boosted his profile further.

Vlahos has since moved behind the camera, with short films 'Right Place, Wrong Tim' and 'Double Tap' both premiering at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas. Check out the latter's blend of strobe-lit social media satire and "dickless trolls" below.

2. Sage Bennett

Inquisitive director and photographer Sage Bennett is inspired by "very specific and seemingly mundane occurances", such as her mum's table tennis lessons every Tuesday and Thursday morning. She's also drawn to female-focused stories both personal and branded.

For example, this ad for American jewellery brand Made by Mary focuses on two sisters lost in their own world. Graced by naturalistic performances and a well-balanced tone, the film shows what Bennett is capable of in the commercial realm.
