ALE DORDONI HEADS TO FINAL CUT.

The city of Piacenza is perhaps best known as the birthplace of Italian football greats Filippo and Simeone Inzaghi. DAVID knows it as the birthplace of editor Alessandro 'Ale' Dordoni, who joins Final Cut's UK roster.

Dordoni graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan with a degree in architecture, but moved to New York in 2012 to study editing between DJ sets. London's where he turned professional, though, with stints at Focus on Infinity, Chrome, and OkayStudio before Final Cut called.


Managing director David Webb says: "Ale has an incredible body of work, showing innate rhythm, pacing, and narrative flair. We're excited for him to join the roster to help him continue to develop his career and hone his craft."

Executive producer Michelle Corney is equally effusive: "Ale's enthusiasm and passion for editing is undeniable. "His work in fashion, sports branding, and documentary is a welcome addition to our roster. He's a great fit for Final Cut, and we're super excited for him to join."


And what does Dordoni have to say about all this? "Joining Final Cut and adding my name to their roster feels incredibly rewarding and I can't wait to get started and tell more stories to be proud of." They'll be dancing on the streets of Piacenza tonight.
