Mike Matthews, trusted purveyor of food and drink commercials, has joined Bite Collective for UK and European representation. Matthews brings an enviable reel to the table, along with a shooting style admired by brands and celebrity chefs alike.

One of his most grateful clients are Laphroaig, the single malt whisky from Islay who admit their product is not for everyone. For some it's history in a glass, for others it's like drinking "burnt knickers", but one thing is for certain—it's a spirit that gets people talking. Those who have experienced Laphroaig, for better or worse, will feel like their taste has been respected.


Back on the mainland, Matthews raises a glass to his new home: "I'm a huge lover of all things mouth related so when I received the call from Alex [Katz] and Dom [Seymour], it was an opportunity I couldn't resist.

"BITE are absolutely top of their game, with a fantastically exciting roster and I can't wait to get busy with them because I hear they do fabulous lunch meetings and also they just happen to be rather marvellous, lovely people."
