Life's a pain right now, so Stink have plumped for Dan Streit's "strange, distorted, off-kilter take on reality" instead. The Los Angeles-based director has been on Stink's radar for a while, with executive producer Ryland Burns among his chief admirers.
"I came across Dan's work a couple of years ago and was immediately blown away," Burns says. "Dan embodies a refreshing DIY, self-starter mentality—directing, producing, editing, and doing visual effects all himself." On top of all that, Burns is impressed by Streit's commercial savvy.
"He approaches every project with a modern perspective, and most recently has shown an insane natural ability to confidently and seamlessly adapt his unique workflow and filmmaking process to the commercial landscape. It's been really exciting and rewarding watching him grow as a director, from both afar as a fan, and now as close collaborators."

As well as a desire to grow his TVC reel, Streit brings a reputation for bold and subversive music videos. Take this promo for Joji's Glimpse of Us, which evokes skate films, Jackass, and found footage horror. Rather than descend into violence and gross-out gross-out comedy, Streit delivers a poignant take on masculinity.
So what does Streit have to say about the next chapter in his career?
