Nice Shirt Films have made another addition to their roster in the form of director Matt Houghton.
The man behind well-received short films like ‘Four Weddings’ and ‘Landline’ joins fellow new signing Louis Hollis at 28 Foubert’s Place, bringing a tidy commercial and narrative reel with him.
Houghton is best known for documentaries on a wide range of topics, including gay farmers, amateur boxing, and weddings from around the world. Such work has cemented Houghton’s reputation as a compassionate and insightful filmmaker.
Work for brands like Red Bull and Nicorette, meanwhile, shows he’s got plenty of commercial savvy into the bargain. Naturally, the likes of Nice Shirt EP Richard Martin are keen to pair Houghton with the right script as soon as possible.
