Award-winning director Ross Bolidai has joined The Visionaires for commercial representation.
Bolidai’s first documentary short won the ‘Best Student Documentary’ at the Royal Television Society Awards in 2012, and since then his career has gone from strength to strength as he’s built a impressive reel encompassing narrative films, documentaries, and commercials.
The Londoner cut his teeth in the industry by shooting music promos for underground hip hop artists. A strong team player, Bolidai quickly found his feet behind the camera and developed a distinctive visual language which set him apart from the crowd.
Bolidai’s work is characterised by a genuine compassion and sensitivity towards his subjects, as well as a desire to show what makes them tick. Naturally, The Visionaries co-founder Patti West is keen to develop these qualities further.
I am thrilled to be represented by The Visionaries. I was drawn by not only their exceptional roster but by their wonderfully warm and personal energy.
West says: “We are honoured to welcome Ross Bolidai. His style is characterised by immense sensitivity to the subject and visual finesse resulting in honest storytelling.”
Bolidai himself is equally excited to explore fresh opportunities at his new home: “I am thrilled to be represented by The Visionaries. I was drawn by not only their exceptional roster but by their wonderfully warm and personal energy. I feel incredibly supported and excited to embark on new adventures together.”
