A NEW START FOR NEW LAND.
14 October 2019

Scandinavian production company New Land are UK-bound as they announce the launch of their new London office.

Currently based in Stockholm and Copenhagen, New Land eye success across the North Sea with the help of Executive Producer and Managing Director Trine Pillay, who will enthusiastically lead their London branch.

Pillay says the prospect of establishing New Land in the UK market is made doubly exciting by the company's progressive roster, which has a near 50/50 split of male and female directors: "This has contributed to New Land's success in creating pioneering work - always with an unapologetically humanistic touch. Such a fresh and forward-thinking approach has always excited me."

You can check out New Land's Scandi-cool roster for yourself at their website. According to director and co-founder Gustav Johansson, there's room for new additions: "We have a strong track record in breaking and developing new talent."

We're excited to bring our New Land design and sensibility together with the high level of creative from UK clients and agencies."

 ”

This blend of youth and experience is carefully managed by Johansson and his fellow co-founders, Daniel Kragh-Jacobsen and Casper Balslev at their Scandinavian offices.

With the highly talented Trine Pillay on-board, New Land are looking forward to what they can achieve on these shores. As Johansson puts it: "We're excited to bring our New Land design and sensibility, along with our democratic approach and strong focus on craft, together with the high level of creative from UK clients and agencies."
