Some commuters have it easier than others. Take Finn McGough, for instance - upon signing for Pulse Films, he discovered his house was only 1.9 miles away from head office. As perks of the job go, it's right up there with free stationary.
McGough is quick to point out his main reasons for joining, however, namely Pulse's reputation as a "brilliantly energetic and forward-thinking company" that juggles his three favourite disciplines: commercials, documentaries, and drama.
This chimes especially well with McGough's own outlook on filmmaking: "Storytelling comes in many shapes and sizes and it's inspiring to join a company that expresses itself through so many forms... all of which I hope to pursue under one roof."
Finn has an extraordinary capacity to capture characters and moments that appear totally honest.
Greeting him at the door is Pulse's managing director of commercials James Sorton, who admits he's "followed Finn's career for many years and has always been a fan of his work". Ads such as McGough's 2018 piece for McCain only reinforced Sorton's appreciation.
Sorton adds: "We're thrilled to have Finn as part of our roster. He has an extraordinary capacity to capture characters and moments that appear totally honest. He's also a really great person with a brilliant reputation in the industry."
