ROHAN BLAIR-MANGAT ARRIVES AT CAVIAR.
14 February 2018

London-based director Rohan Blair-Mangat has joined Caviar for representation. His open-minded approach has produced an eclectic showreel. TVCs, promos, interactive work… anything to enhance his growing skill-set.

What's his background? A noted football fan and movie buff, Blair-Mangat graduated from Central Saint Martins with a degree in Fine Art. Since then he's worked with an impressive list of brands and artists.

Such as? You may have heard of a bloke called Jay-Z. To promote his latest album, this affectionate documentary-stroke-promo sees Mr. Z and Damian Marley shoot the breeze in Kingston's Trench Town district.

Shepherding music royalty like this is no mean feat. Luckily, Blair-Mangat handles the star wattage with ease. He also captures the Jamaican setting's rough charm and reggae heritage.

We are very excited to have Rohan join the Caviar family. There’s a raw authenticity to his work that manages to punch through in a cinematic and rhythmic way.

 ”

Music informs his commercial work, too. In 2016, NHS Blood and Transplant aimed to engage a new wave of black and Asian donors. Blair-Mangat's promo-inspired piece brought fresh energy to this sector.

This approach excites Caviar's Jasper Thomlinson: "There's a raw authenticity to his work that manages to punch through in a cinematic and rhythmic way. And this vision spans the gamut from his music videos, ad campaigns, to the film and TV projects he's developing.

"It makes Rohan the perfect addition to the Caviar roster and makes us eager to get started making great work together."

Blair-Mangat shares this enthusiasm: "I am really exciting to be joining Caviar. I've been following their work for a while and it's great to be reunited with Georgie MacEchern who was my first ever commercial rep. I'm looking forward to the projects that come in 2018 and beyond!"

You can sample more of Rohan Blair-Mangat's work here. To discuss availability, speak to Georgie MacEchern on 020 3219 7960 or email her via georgie.macechern@caviar.tv.
