CURLY FILMS ENLIST NICO BEYER.

New Curly Films director Nico Beyer is a Borussia Dortmund fan, so you can imagine his disappointment when Chelsea beat them in the Champions League earlier this month. Fortunately, Beyer enjoys the UK too much to hold a grudge.

"I just like English culture," he says. "Music, films, art, fashion etc… I grew up in Düsseldorf, which was the British occupation zone. That means, I grew up with English television, radio and lots of English people… that's why I would love to work more in the UK." That's where Curly co-founder Richard Guy comes in.


"We're very excited to welcome Nico to the Curly family," Guy says. "He offers a wealth of experience that spans the globe and has a hilarious sense of humour that often has me in stitches. We can't wait to see what the UK market holds for him".

Comedy's not the only string to his bow… this hopeful Star Alliance ad counts the reunions made possible by air travel as Covid-19 restrictions ease.
