Multi-talented Canadian director Charles Burroughs has joined the roster at Mad Cow for commercial representation.
Born in Quebec City, Burroughs made his filmmaking debut at the tender age of fifteen, when he premiered his first freestyle ski movie, ‘High Step'. After making the most of Canada's winters and releasing a ski film every year from 2003 to 2007, he decided to branch out and develop his skills further.
Burroughs then threw himself into the world of advertising, where he made a splash with work for brands like Farnham Ale & Lager and - in a bizarre intersection of video games and low-budget action movie royalty - Non-Stop Chuck Norris.
Such work demonstrates the Canadian's knack for deadpan humour, as well as his ability to handle some of the more off-kilter scripts agencies have to offer. Naturally, Mad Cow are keen to let Burroughs loose on the UK market as soon as possible.
