With four episodes of 'Servant' on Apple TV+ to his name and a stint on 'Doctor Who' underway, Dylan Holmes Williams is a name to watch. Chuck in a Jury Prize for International Fiction at the Sundance Film Festival and you can see why MindsEye have swooped in.
"Watching Dylan's Sundance-winning short film, 'The Devil's Harmony', it was clear to me that this was an incredibly unique and exciting voice at work," says managing director Hughie Phillips. "I can't wait to see what we go on to produce together."
Neither can Holmes Williams, by all accounts: "I'm delighted to join the MindsEye roster. Since getting to know Hughie and the team, I've seen that it's a company that has storytelling, creativity, and fun at its core and it feels like the ideal fit for me. The directors I'll be keeping company with are some of my favourites too."
He arrives at MindsEye with a stuffed polar bear in tow, borrowed from his recent spot for Wild. The apex predator and eco-warrior dumps his girlfriend when she uses a single-use deodorant, but recommends a sustainable alternative before he leaves. This ursine romantic comedy suggests a bright future in TVCs.
