ANDZEJ GAVRISS SIGNS FOR AGILE FILMS.

Agile Films have completed the signing of director Andzej Gavriss for commercials and music videos. The Latvian impressed last year with 'Uprooted', a film that explores the mental impact of war on Ukranian refugees.

Slammed doors, sirens, fireworks - all these everyday sounds take on new connotations for people who have seen their homes destroyed and neighbours killed. Their fear is depicted in visceral fashion here, as the cast react in involuntary ways which reveal their trauma. Made for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, it's a strong calling card for Gavriss.


He's full of praise for his new home, as you might expect: "The passion and motivation of the Agile team to create art is truly inspiring. They have a deep love for filmmaking and strive to create unique and exceptional projects.
