BETHAN SELLER HITS THE SWEET MEDIA SPOT.
15 August 2019

Up-and-coming filmmaker Bethan Seller has joined Sweet Media for representation in Ireland.

Since graduating from Leeds College of Art in 2014, Seller has built up an impressive body of work, tackling various genres and subjects with ease.

For instance, Seller has been outspoken in her criticism of the 'tampon tax' and period poverty, and directing has allowed her to address the issue head-on. The self-funded short film 'Luxuriously Taxable' is one of the her early calling cards.

Seller's tenacity is matched only by her flair for art direction and set design, with neat background details and finishing touches providing extra value. This 2019 ad for the Royal Bank Scotland, for example, shows how she can inject some razzmatazz into digital banking.

The young director's taste for the theatrical also came in handy when Bet Fred came calling in 2017. Whatever your opinion of mobile gambling, Seller convincingly evokes the heyday of ocean liners - albeit with a few mod cons dotted about the place.

Think Bethan Seller is ideal for your next project? Then ring Sweet Media's Emma O'Beirne (emma@sweetmedia.ie) or Andy Bradford (andy@sweetmedia.ie) on +353 1 661 2472 to find out more.
