PULSE FILMS SNAP UP SOB.
5 September 2019

Up-and-coming directing duo SOB have joined the Music Video roster at Pulse for representation.

Comprised of Central Saint Martins graduates Sosa Ohen and Joe Shaw, SOB formed after years of juggling film shoots and coursework. Needless to say, they became experts in the art of multitasking.

CSM also introduced Ohen and Shaw to their chief collaborator, London-born soul singer Collard. The trio have produced multiple promos together so far, with new release 'Merciless' handily serving as SOB's Pulse Films debut.

Described as being "obsessed by constant artistic evolution" by Collard, SOB have already turned heads with their compact showreel. One of those heads belongs to Pulse's music video EP Maurizo von Trapp, who says: "What amazed me initially about Sosa and Joe was how clear their vision was as new directors.

The absence of restrictions on the work that we can produce with Pulse Films makes it an inspiring place to be.

 ”

"Not only can they create beautiful and emotive visuals, but they're also keen art directors and are great at forging relationships with the artists they work with. We're excited to welcome SOB and can't wait to see what we create with them."

It's an excitement shared by Ohen and Shaw, who say: "Pulse Films allow for the scope for imaginative creation which goes beyond the traditional methods. The absence of restrictions on the work that we can produce with them makes it an inspiring place to be."
