No.8's busy year continues with the arrival of Kate Gabriel as VFX Supervisor. Gabriel joins from The Mill, where she excelled as a Lighting & Rendering Supervisor on a bunch of high-profile commercials and music videos.
She also chaired the London chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH, or the Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques. She's still a member of the board, and is proud to represent her fellow chapter members in the capital.
Gabriel's even more "thrilled to join the team at No.8 and work with all the talented artists and producers". She adds: "I am looking forward to continuing to provide clients with high-quality work and the best experience possible. I'm excited to start this journey!"
