After more than a decade working as an art director, former Grey and McCann Erickson creative Alexander Dunning has joined Park Village's roster of directors.
Dunning's creative department experience is likely to prove invaluable as agencies and production companies work more closely than ever in their efforts to adapt to the challenges of the pandemic.
According to MD Tom Webb, Park Village were drawn to Dunning because of his photographic eye, as much as his creative department expertise: "It was clear as soon as I met Alex that his true passion lies behind the camera. His work as a creative means that he understands the process from both sides and this mixed skillset brings great insight and value to every project he gets involved with."
As you can see from the above film for Nurses' Trust, Dunning certainly has the ability tell a story with great economy and poignancy.
The gentle humour of Dunning's film for MUBI shows another side of his skillset, and the squabbling couple's interactions have been executed with considerable technical skill.
Dunning is pleased with his new station: "Being invited to join the roster at Park village is really exciting, they have a rich history of making outstanding work. It’s somewhere I feel I can hone my voice and bring stories to life with a great team around me."
