TILL NOWAK HEADS TO NEXUS STUDIOS
16 May 2018

Nexus Studios have boosted their roster by signing director Till Nowak for global commercial representation.

Born into a family of traditional artists, Nowak took a more technological route and studied media design. His 2005 graduation film 'Delivery' showed off his technical skills and drew global attention, as audiences were intrigued by its mind-bending take on a post-apocalyptic future.

Nowak's artistic skills have put him on the cutting edge of pop culture recently, as he was one of the first artists brought on board to visualise Marvel's 2018 blockbuster 'Black Panther'. Nowak worked on the design of fictional African nation Wakanda, drawing on diverse artistic influences to ensure the setting's authentic feel.

He creates stunningly imaginative visual worlds that push the boundaries of visual storytelling.

 ”

Nowak also found viral fame with 'The Centrifuge Brain Project', which encompassed blueprints, designs, and films of impossible amusement rides. Many took the mockumentary seriously, and clips of the fantastical rides have been passed around the internet as 'authentic' since the project's launch.

Nexus think Nowak is the real deal. Co-founder Chris O'Reilly notes: "Till Nowak is a rare talent working across several disciplines from filmmaking, installations and digital art. In all, he creates stunningly imaginative visual worlds that push the boundaries of visual storytelling.  We're excited to have him join the Nexus roster."

Nowak's latest project - the hybrid live action and animation piece 'Dissonance', which questions where humanity is heading with their connection to reality in a digital world - suggests a fruitful relationship with Nexus is on the cards.
