HUNKY DORY STRENGTHEN MARKETING TEAM BY ADDING NEIL LINPOW
4 January 2018

During the twelve years Neil Linpow spent as a successful jobbing actor, he was frequently asked by director friends to help them write treatments.

So when he began to tire of the roller coaster ride of auditions, Linpow decided to see if life would be any more satisfying if he turned his sideline into a full-time occupation and he embarked on a career as a directors' representative.

After a stint at Bootleg Films where he was Head of New Business, Linpow has joined Hunky Dory where he will be Head of Sales.

Having acted in a number of TV dramas, he was drawn to Hunky Dory - in part - because of the impressive array of experienced TV directors on the company's roster. Over coffee in Soho he enthuses about Jack 'People Just Do Nothing' Clough and Sam 'Luther' Miller before identifying favourite work made by just about every director at his new company.

It's a great opportunity for me and I'd like to think Hunky Dory will be pleased if I manage to bring a little bit of fresh energy into the company.

 ”

It's clear that he has a very good understanding of what makes directors tick, and while he has a great deal of admiration for the talented people he'll be supporting, you can tell he's not overawed by them. For someone who is relatively new to this side of the business, he exhibits first-rate knowledge and an understated confidence in his ability to make the case for Hunky Dory retinue of directors.

Linpow is working closely with Ronae Rayson - Hunky Dory's Head of Sales & Marketing - and he says they've already developed a really useful rapport. Asked how they will operate, he enthuses about his new colleague before expressing his hopes about his own contribution: "It's a great opportunity for me and I'd like to think Hunky Dory will be pleased if I manage to bring a little bit of fresh energy into the company."
