INDY8 SIGNS THE ROOS BROTHERS
27 June 2018

Indy8 have signed the Roos Brothers for commercial representation in the UK and Europe.

Sometimes referred to as 'America's greatest boyband' (NSYNC* are rolling in their pop graves as we speak), the Roos are, perhaps unsurprisingly, a collective of brothers. Having made films together since childhood, the trio have dabbled in everything from short films to TVCs.

With successful collaborations with major brands across a diverse range of sectors throughout their career - from sports to beverages - the Roos have become known for their ability to blend arresting visuals with emotional stories.

Their short film 'aRm1' shows off this compelling set of skills, as it tells the story of motorcycle racer Chris Ganley - who was forced to find a new way to compete after a life-changing accident.

Documentary style films are something of a forte for the collective, who have proven their ability to cut to the heart of human stories without dipping their toes in schmaltz.

Collectively they bring so much craft to their work, combining breathtaking visuals with poignant insights into the human spirit.

 ”

An ode to camaraderie and playing for the love of the game, the brothers' film 'Harpo's' is a love letter to soccer. Relating the story of the little team that could, the film shows off the Roos' distinctively quiet visuals and restrained directorial touch... and reinforces their compulsion to champion the underdog.

The group have also been nominated for numerous awards for their work, and have been recognised with Webby awards for online content for three years in a row.

It's no surprise, then, that Indy8 are pleased to welcome the fraternal trio on board. Charlie Stanfield, Head of Indy8, said of the signing: "The Roos Brothers are such an exciting signing for us here at Indy8. Collectively they bring so much craft to their work, combining breathtaking visuals with poignant insights into the human spirit."
