MINDCASTLE MEETS MINDSEYE.
28 September 2017

Commercial directing duo Mindcastle have joined MindsEye for UK representation.

The Seattle-based duo are Casey Warren and Danielle Krieger. MindsEye MD Hughie Phillips admits he's been looking for a director of Mindcastle's calibre for some time: "The fact that we've got two for one is all the better!"

Warren and Krieger met in high school as budding photographers, while college saw them transition to film. Even as students, their potential was apparent - something ESPN was keen to nurture.

The broadcaster tapped them to shoot coverage of the NFL draft. Since then, the duo have become regular fixtures in American sports advertising.

Other sectors have taken note, too. Mindcastle's knack for documentary-style visuals and measured pacing continues to attract global brands. Their recent work persuaded MindsEye they were ready for the UK market.

The voice [Mindcastle] give to their work and the stunning visual flair was an immediate draw.

Film buffs and tequila fans alike will be appreciate this atmospheric Patrón commercial starring Guillermo del Toro. Flitting between the director's imposing study and the Mexican countryside, the ad brims with Gothic allure.

Mindcastle also balance TVC work with their growing short film reel. They appreciate MindsEye's supportive approach towards personal projects: "Their passion for filmmaking, the quality of their work, and their track record of developing talent were all a big draw to us."

The pair add: "We are very excited about the support they can provide and are looking forward to an exciting future together".

As for MindsEye, Hughie Phillips predicts instant returns: "The voice they give to their work and the stunning visual flair was an immediate draw. They bring a new skillset to our roster and we are thrilled to be representing them in the UK. Watch this space!"
