 It's the work, stupid.

YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS OUR MAY CRAFTWORKS.
1 May 2018

About a year ago, DAVID asked Ben Priest what he would choose for his reunion if he were to accept our invitation to take part in CraftWorks, and - without a flicker of hesitation - he said 'The Long Wait'.

A few things have happened since then, including the announcement that Ben is to retire from advertising, so we thought we'd better grab him while we can and reunite the people behind a commercial that altered Christmas advertising forever.

As always, the reunion will only be one part of our show but - unusually - we're going to hold the event in the evening and there will be a bar selling drinks at student union prices at the back of the venue.

What time does it start? The doors will open at 18.00 with the show itself starting at 18.30.

Who else is on the reunion panel? Ben Priest will be joined by Craig Inglis of John Lewis and Dougal Wilson who directed it, as well as a few other people who contributed - though you'll have to wait until the 23rd to find out who.

Who else is on? Emer Stamp will be returning briefly to the world of advertising to tell us how she effected her escape... by writing a series of children's books that began with 'The Unbelievable Top Secret Diary of Pig'.

And director Michael Lennox will present his captivating new short film 'Here's Looking At You, Kid' and face a Q&A afterwards.

How much are tickets? If you're a full member, they're just £20 plus VAT... slightly more if you're a limited member and all the way up to £50 plus VAT if you're not a member at all.

You can buy tickets here. Please don't delay if you want to be there... this event will definitely be sold out before the 23rd.
