Fritz's music promo work, in particular, shows off his talent for giving the viewer food for thought - trusting the audience to form their own conclusions. His film for Charlotte Day Wilson's 'Work' is a good example, and has a beautiful simplicity which gives us space to ruminate on exactly what the endless escalator ride means.
Commercially, Fritz is known for his fashion films for Stella McCartney and H&M, and was shortlisted for the Young Director Awards in Cannes last year.
His 2016 campaign for Stella McCartney demonstrates the out-of-time sensibility which runs through his work, mixing a retro aesthetic vibe with a warm grade to create something which stands out from the crowd.
