1. Laura Scrivano
Italian-Australian filmmaker Laura Scrivano grew up in a small coastal town south of Sydney, and was raised on a diet of Eighties blockbusters, Australian gothic masterpieces, and European avant-garde - all of which has influenced the deep understanding of human relationships which shines through her work. Missing Link co-founder and MD Ben Link was drawn to Scrivano's "incredible energy and drive", while the director herself said the company's "passion for distinct storytelling and flair for taking risks" fit her own creative instincts to a tee.
2. Christophe Dolcerocca
Christophe Dolcerocca, meanwhile, had a successful career as a commercials editor before pivoting to follow his dreams behind the camera. His change of path has been a boon for the fashion and beauty sectors, which have heavily benefited from his meticulous eye for detail and ability to elevate any concept in order to make it pop onscreen. While Dolcerocca relishes the opportunity to challenge the conventions of the British scene by combining his "Scandinavian slice-of-life" approach with his "French larger-than-life mentality", Ben Link agrees that his "captivating style" will have him feeling right at home with Missing Link in no time.
