ARTHUR LOK ENLISTS WITH LOOP TALENT.

When Arthur Lanigan O'Keeffe retired from modern pentathlon in 2021 because of a hip injury, he enrolled for a master's degree at the London Film Academy, as you do. Three years later, he's a director of photography on the books at Loop Talent—what a result, eh?

The move follows the release of 'You Can't Beat an Original' for Adidas and Manchester United. Shot in grainy 16mm, the film is a love letter to the Red Devils, a '90s throwback that shows why LOK and director Tom Day are such a formidable team—more formidable than the current United squad, for sure.


The pair also teamed up for a documentary about Bruce Silverglade, owner of Gleason's Gym in Brooklyn, New York. The oldest boxing gym in the country is a far cry from the arenas LOK competed in, but you can tell the Irishman's in his element.
