THE FACE OF IKEA BECOMES THE FACE OF HAMILTON.

Mr and Mrs DAVID were lucky enough to see 'Hamilton' at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh last week. It blew our socks off, not least because of Shaq Taylor’s performance as Alexander Hamilton. Witty, melodic, quick-tempered… Taylor is hammy in the best possible way.

What made his portrayal of one of America's Founding Fathers even better was a line in the official programme: "Shaq is currently the face of IKEA in the UK and Ireland." That's right—Taylor is the bloke who invites people into his crib and shows off his Franka bags, oven-ready leftovers, and washable sofa covers.

It's always fun to see what people from the day job get up to, plus it means we can add Taylor's name to the credits. "And the world is gonna know your name!" Hamilton sings, as if he supported DAVID's hunt for credits long before it started.
