COMPULSORY GET TO THE CRUX OF THE MATTER.

French animation studio Crux have joined COMPULSORY for global representation. Chris Toumazou, Kadri Mahmoud, and Kiran Mandla always have a eye for new talent, and they were soon drawn to Bordeaux where Crux opened their doors in 2019.

The team are perhaps best known for their 2D animation, and count brands like Coca-Cola, SK-II, and Adobe among their satisfied clients. When the latter asked them to work on a commercial starring Lil Nas X, Crux leapt at the chance to blend live-action and animation with a flamboyant palette.



Such work leads head of new business and development Stephanie Walton to say: "Crux represents to us a fresh voice in animation. Their ability to craft bold imagination with years of experience makes them the perfect collaborator for brands and artists wishing to tell a story through this medium."

And do the band from Bordeaux have to say for themselves? "We believe that every single frame has a purpose to serve. From the first draft of the scenario to the final touch we put our love of craft in everything we do. we push the boundaries of animation to tell stories that audiences won't forget."
