JADE ADEYEMI JOINS VISION ARTISTS.

Vision have signed another Emerging Artist in the form of production designer Jade Adeyemi. It's been a busy 2022 for Adeyemi so far, with a promo for Ms Banks among the highlights.

Favourite Girl's provocative, playful lyrics demand an equally assured music video, with Adeyemi key to its success. She and director Teeeezy C use national flags to create a United Nations boudoir vibe throughout, while Banks's goddess outfit reminds everyone who's in control.


Before that, Adeyemi worked on Dumas Haddad's Flowers, a fairy tale shot through a Black cultural lens. Haddad's storytelling is poetic and mysterious, but Adeyemi makes his Afrofuturistic world tangible from start to finish. Suffice it to say, the flower arrangements are a constant treat.


Now an official Emerging Artist, the British-Nigerian is keen to repay Vision's faith in her. Given that she works across fashion, advertising, music, experiential design, and event installations, she'll do so in no time. Whatever form her debut takes, expect Vision to make a big deal out of it.
