Multidisciplinary artist Annis Naeem has joined Curate Films for commercial representation. Born in Pakistan, Naeem moved to the United States as a ten-year-old and became an artist aged eighteen. Though his parents disapproved, Naeem has no regrets.

After all, how many careers let you work on a big-budget League of Legends trailer one day and a spec ad for Lamborghini the next? Chuck in concept art for movies like Alita: Battle Angel and The Lion King and you have one of the most versatile, aesthetic directors around.


As well as a prolific solo artist, Naeem is a team player who Curate say "turns vision into creation for every client who has the pleasure of working with him". Madeleine Sanderson and Dan Dickenson also claim "everything that Annis touches turns to gold", which may come in handy when budgets are tight.

While he prepares for his UK debut, check out this high-octane Toyota spot inspired by manga series Initial D. Though the brand would never condone street racing, Naeem's animated celebration of drifting is hard to resist as protagonist Takumi Fujiwara is taught a lesson.
